1.Q:How to set up the television?

A:First thing to do is to set up the television. For that you'd need to make sure your aerial cabel is hooked up tothe TV, then power up the TV, press Menu, go down twice to TUNE/Channel with down arrow(new TV's) till you find AUTO TUNE on the right side of the menu. Press the right arrow button to get to AUTO TUNE and to start it you'd need to press the right button again. The right button is like a confirmation button on that remote. The first patch of the 15" LCD TV's came with a different remote. To set it up you'd need to press menu button, go down twice to TUNE with prog- button, you will find the AUTO TUNE on the right side and to move there you'd need to press VOL+ to go to AUTO TUNE. To start it you'd need to press the VOL+ button again. It will start the AUTO scan and will save all the channels in the end.

2.Q:TV doesn't work. No picture, no power

A:See if the red light on the TV is on. If not see if the cable to the power adapter is pushed in fully. Power up the TV, do the Channel scan/Auto tune.

3.Q:The Screen is Gray or white

A:First make sure that the TV is on. Ask if the blue light is on the TV. Then boot up the TV and try to get to the Menu. If the Screen is one plain color and it won't go to the menu then unplug the TV from the wall. Let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Plug it back in and see if it makes any difference. If there is still no picture, you can't get the menu up or do anything, then the panel is faulty. Some cables might be loose inside.

4.Q:AV inputs don't work

A:Have you plugged in the cable to the TV. Then press source( remote) /input (on TV) button, select AV or another input and to confirm you'd need to press the right arrow button (new remote) or the VOL+ button (old remote). Also make sure that your connected device is also powered up.

5.Q:No Signal, can't get DVD or VCR player to work.

A:See on what source is the TV. Is it on AV, TV or somewhere else. Select the source you want use and press the right arrow button (new remote) or the VOL+ button (old remote). If it states still NO SIGNAL then check if the cables are correctly in and is the DVD or VCR on.

6.Q:TV picture is poor

A:First check if the cable is properly in the aerial input. If the TV has found some channels after the auto tune, then it is usually nothing to do with the TV. The TV works fine. They can try to do the Auto tune couple of times again to see maybe it picks up a better signal. If the picture is still poor the problem is that the signal is weak. They can try to put the antenna closer to the window to get a better reception. They can also try to plug the TV into another room to see maybe the signal is better there. It might be that the cable has been divided to get the signal to other rooms and maybe that's why the signal has lost his strength. They should contact an antenna expert to find a best way to boost the signal or go over the cable connections.

7.Q:No Sound

A:Check that it isn't on mute. If still then go to menu. Press the down button to get to tune and then press left arrow to go the sub menu and down arrow to arrive to sound sys. See what it states over there. It needs to be B/G. If it is B/G and still no sound try to do another channel scan. See if the sound comes then.

8.Q:Can't tune the TV.

A:First make sure that you are on TV. For that press the Source button and see on what input it is. Make sure it's on TV. Then go to menu and to the first Channel setup. See point nr. 1.
